Junior Consultant

Dan joined MRAG as a Junior Consultant after graduating from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Marine Biology and an MSc in Marine Environmental Management. His research was focused on fisheries science and marine historical ecology, writing his undergraduate dissertation on the development and ecological impact of British fisheries from 1900 to 2010 and writing his Master's thesis on the historical distribution and ecosystem services of European flat oyster reefs around France. Prior to joining MRAG, Dan managed projects at UK and international NGOs, focusing on science communication and policy analysis, and published policy briefs as a delegate to several UN climate conferences. He has experience of analysis using R and producing maps in QGIS and is bilingual in English and French.
